Applications are invited for admission into Post-B.Sc. Integrated Ph.D. Course in Molecular Biology, Post-B.Sc. Integrated Ph.D. Course in Microbiology and Post-B.Sc. Integrated Ph.D. Course in Genetics conducted at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology, BF-142, Salt Lake, Kolkata – 700 064, for the academic session 2016-2017, commencing August 2016.
Eligibility : B.Sc. with honors in Life Sciences/Zoology/ Botany/ Physiology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Genetics with not less than 55% marks in the honors subject.
Candidates appearing for their final year examination, or whose results are awaited, are also eligible to apply, if selected, they will be admitted provisionally subject to submission of their final mark sheet by the cut-off date to be notified later by the university, failing which the provisional admission shall stand cancelled.

Entry to the Integrated Ph.D Program : At the end of the first two years, candidates will be eligible to continue with the Integrated Ph.D program upon qualifying the National Eligibility Test (NET) examination as per rules. However non-NET candidates (students who do not meet the required criteria for the aforesaid Integrated Ph.D program) seeking admission to regular Ph.D program will have to qualify the mandatory Interview for necessary enrollment to Ph.D program as per the rules laid down by the Ph.D Committee.
Tuition Fees : Tuition fee is Rs. 3000/- per month (for the first two years). Other fees are also payable at the time of admission and at the beginning of each semester.
